Christopher Marquez serves as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Sales Officer for GB 1031. Christopher brings over two decades of industry experience in the escrow, settlement and real estate financial services industry.  As a former principal of Granite Escrow, one of Southern California’s Leading escrow companies, Chris and his partners created a state-of-the-art escrow services platform that prolifically processed over $8B in considerations annually with individual transactions over $100M. During his tenure, Chris expanded into the 1031 space as a natural progression to his settlement business.  Universal Pacific Exchange was formed and handled everything from forward, reverse, improvement exchanges while employing the practices and procedures from Granite to safeguard his clients’ assets.

On a personal note, Chris resides in Pasadena with his wife Gina and two kids, Ava (13) and Max (11).  He’s a graduate of San Diego State University and a native Angeleno.  In his spare time, you are likely to find him on the golf course or coaching one of his kids’ teams.
